Goodnight Guatemala

These are just a few moments right before we put Sam and Lucy to bed tonight. They are just moments... but isn't that what this has all been for? It's what we have dreamed of all this time... moments together. I am at a loss for words tonight...

A quiet moment between siblings.A private joke?

Taking each step together...

Deep breath. We are coming home.

Sending that ever famous paper bag your way!! You sound so ready to come home.

Tears of happiness, and tears of sadness for you tonight. As you tuck yourselves in for one last night in Guatemala (until next time). Tomorrow you begin a new chapter. Can't wait to follow along.

Travel safe. Know that we are holding you close tomorrow and thinking of you every step of the way.

Baby girl it's time to say good-bye to your birth country for now. So much and so many await you here in America. The pictures of you and your brother are priceless.

YEAH!! YEAH!! You're coming home!!

Oh my goodness....crying tears of happiness for you because I remember exactly how I felt the night before I left, but also crying a few tears of sadness because I know how hard it is to leave Guatemala. Isn't it amazing how another person's journey can bring back so many memories of your own?

Thinking of you tomorrow as you FINALLY bring your sweet girl home!

"And a little child shall lead them".....we have all held our breath for you, cried when you cried, beamed with joy when you beamed........and now feel the wait of the world off your shoulders as God so sweetly reminds us....Everything in this life is in "His" time, if we are just patient. He provides our every need.........You and Keith have been so patient....and in many ways we've all needed Lucy and the love she represents. And as the tears roll down my face, I know we are all happier and much much more faithful by your journey....and indeed "A little child led us"...
We eagerly await the arrival of the "Orlando family" back in Gorham.

Much love,
Peg
